Root Canal Therapy
Endodontic therapy becomes necessary when the pulp (the tissue inside the tooth) becomes infected or inflamed. Endodontic issues usually occur due to deep cavities (caries), cracks, chips, repeated dental procedures, root resorption or trauma.Learn More
Root Canal Treatment
Root canals are one of the most common dental procedures performed by endodontists. Also known as root canal therapy, root canals are performed on teeth with infected pulp to heal the diseased tooth and avoid extraction. This single treatment can help save your natural teeth and prevent you from having to get dental implants or bridges.Learn More
Apicoectomy is the most common endodontic microsurgical technique used to save a tooth. Apicoectomy, or root-end resection, can be used to locate missed canals or small fractures that have been previously undetected during initial treatment.Learn More

Wonderful office. Staff was exceptional. Dr Edlund was one of the most patient, kind, compassionate and thorough Dr's we have ever met. Thoroughly impressed and I highly recommend this office.
My dentist called Dr. Edlund on Dec. 23rd at 5pm as they were closing for the day. Dr. Edlund and his staff waited for me after hours and performed an emergency root canal before leaving for Christmas holidays. They were so kind and made the experience as comfortable as possible for me. I am so grateful to him and his staff. I was in pain and I don't know what I would have done had he not seen me on such short notice. He did such a great job.
My wife went to see Dr. Edlund for a 2nd opinion. His office is very friendly, clean, and state of the art. Dr. Edlund spent a lot of time with us reviewing 3D image scans and explaining them in detail. His approach for treatment was much more conservative than the previous doctor. He aims to not remove teeth or do surgery unless the evidence in the scans show a need for that. He is extremely skilled in this field and has the patients best interest in mind. We highly recommend him!
A highly educated, warm and compassionate Endodontic surgeon. Excellent office staff and assistants. From CT scans, to scheduling, to procedure.. the doctor and office run like a organized well oiled machine!!! Thank you and God bless you all!
